I wish that I could say that I was way overdue in doing the laundry this week. That we had exhausted all clothing options, including underwear. But that was not the case. The reason that there was no more underwear in my boys’ drawer was that they had decided to use these articles of clothing for various games. They took turns launching pairs of underwear off of their bunk bed, attempting to get them to hook on to the wooden airplane hanging from their ceiling. And then they decided to put them on their heads, the underwear now serving as a costume piece.
How do they come up with this? It’s not like Justin and I are modeling this behavior at home. Why these things occur to my boys as reasonable (and fun!) things to do is beyond me! I am at a loss, once again.
Their “creativity” never ceases to amaze – or in this case, baffle – me.
