Hot lunch is not something that should consume your time or energy. We have spent years creating solutions to make our lunch program as easy and ‘hands off’ as possible.
Parents order one of the 17 rotating entrees as late as 9 am the school-day-before. Parents pay online, and receive friendly email reminders to order. They can cancel online when plans change, and we even send extra lunches every single day so you don’t have a 4th grader in your office at lunch time with that look of hunger and humiliation.
Our chefs cook from scratch, using local ingredients whenever possible. Our menu is designed by kids and we go through an extensive Recipe Development process to create foods that meet our high standards of quality and nutritional density. Our meals meet standards far exceeding those recommended by Senate Bill 12, the California law that monitors school food. With a team of trained Chefs and professional drivers (and trucks with GPS), we have literally a squad of people whose job it is to ensure that our lunch program is tasty, healthy and easy.
