There is a sign on our front door that reminds us in the office to bring home our lunches. Yes, all of us ‘support staff’ order Choicelunch online just like you do, not only for our midday breaks, but also to take home to our families. Many of us have young kiddos, not yet enrolled in school, and hungry spouses anxious for us to bring home the bacon (or salads and sushi, as is more often the case—no bacon yet on the Choicelunch menu). In February 2004, we introduced our proprietary website-choicelunch.com. It was state-of-the-art. No school lunch service that we knew of had online ordering with the kind of menu features we built ‘back in the day.’ Through the years, the website has transformed the way families order school lunches.
