With our Celebrity Chef obsession, sometimes you have to ask if Chefs even cook anymore. In creating our school lunch choices, our chefs proudly stir each pot and are celebrities to us.

They are the type of people you want making your child's lunch.

Travis Jones

Our super chef is Travis Jones. Growing up just a block away from his Grandma Audrey’s house, Travis was the one grandchild who stood by her elbow and learned her recipes (his favorite was Chicken and Dumplings.) This is where American comfort food is taught, where the apron hangs on the refrigerator and flour sits in the largest canister on the counter.

Travis worked through college at such refined places as Chez Panisse and The Water Grill, ultimately opening his own restaurants. He has summoned that heritage at Choicelunch. Among many of your school lunch favorites, our scratch-made dressings are Travis’ creation, as well our famous bagel dog, made with dough enhanced with 7 different veggie purees. Travis cooks with his young sons, Caden and Sawyer, and knows if they love his lunch ideas, your kids will too.
